Sender ID Registration

The branding service is available at a one-off cost of Kshs. 7,500 inclusive of VAT.
The maximum characters allowed for the ID are 11 with no spaces in between. However, spaces
can be filled in with either a hyphen (-) or underscore (_).
Registration of IDs on the Safaricom network is done every Thursday for applications submitted
before Wednesday.
The process may take 24-72 working hours
An authorization letter on the company’s letterhead is required for approval, download  a sample authorization
letter for your reference.

Due to Safaricom’s change of policy, a certificate of incorporation is
required during the registration.
Our SMS standard pricing rate is 1 bob per SMS on Safaricom and Airtel Networks. However, this charges may change due to variation/changing VAT on Safaricom Tariffs.
